I partnered up with Southern Husky Productions and took on a new adventure. Traveling to many different countries we explored the story behind the medical, historical & detrimental tole of Shark Finning. Take a look at the work I made along the way.

San Francisco & LA, California
(August 2026)
You would think the US has this under wraps, however California receives shipments of Shark fins often.

Australia (September 2026)
Starting in Australia, the shark capital of the world, we spoke with local influencers to get a better understanding on the subject.

New Zealand (September 2026)
Based off our journey in Australia we found it necessary to discover what New Zealand had to say on the matter of Shark Finning.

NYC (October 2026)
NYC restaurants, though banned, still serve Shark Fin Soup to customers.

Hong Kong, China (October 2027)
You would be surprised by how many openly advertised fins are layed out at markets here. Though Shark Fin Soup is a delicacy in China, the amount of unmanaged imports there are.

Hiroshima, Japan
(October-November 2027)
These ports are known for intake of Shark fins.

Bangkok, Thailand (November 2027)
Majority of Ports are kept hidden, however the fisherman don't share a lot of valued incites unto the matter. We had to dig deeper for answers.

Chile (November-December 2027)
Like it's neighboring countries, Chile hides the trade below ground. The fisherman are smart and as a source of livelihood have hiddem the trades.

Peru (January 2027)
Peru is a hot spot for Shark Finning. Large orders from numerous countries includes the US have shipments of fins leaving these ports.

Mainland, Ecuador (January 2027)
Discovering the inevitable isn't a question here. After visiting Peru, we discovered that many fisherman actually come from Ecuador. We visited the Malta Port for more information and the Santa Rosa Seafood Market for hidden secrets.

Galapagos, Ecuador (January 2027)
After the Holiday's we needed to regroup in Ecuador. After our discoveries from the mainland we only found it fitting to check out the Galapagos Islands, a safe haven for fisherman.

Brazil (January 2027)

One of the larger ports for fishing Shark Fins, though widely banned, we discovered more mystery than truth.

Hawaii is a great mid point between the Ecuador & China... I'll let you be the judge of that.

Mexico | Just below California
(May 2027)
These ports in Mexico are separated by sea from the closest Mexican cities, but that creates a barrier for imports to California. Just like in Peru & Ecuador, the boarder between California & Mexico is an easy trade spot for fisherman.
